This short video sends out a very powerful message on why we need to ensure that the emerging generation are equipped with the necessary skills to become financially literate. A link to ASIC’s Money Smart web page is provided which has a wide range of resources for teachers to help develop financial literacy in students.

MoneySmart units offer quality resources for secondary teachers that are aligned to the Australian curriculum.
These units of work and teacher guides give educators lesson plans that they can take directly into the classroom. Their digital activities help students to learn real life skills like mobile phone security and buying your first car. Well worth a look.

Some excellent resources here for Economics & Business teachers. I like how it lists the economic concepts that students should know and provides links to lesson plans to teach these concepts.

This is a great site which offers free primary and secondary teaching resources which are mapped to the Australian Curriculum. You can choose from a variety of media from games, video, audio clips, articles and events to include in your unit plans to engage students and target all learning styles.
